At it's best, the app barely works. There is always a quirk or a little bug or just terrible design but you can at least order or redeem a voucher. But from time to time (pretty regularly) there is a fatal flaw or critical bug where the app doesn't open, shuts down immediately after opening, only shows a "no connection" screen, only shows a white screen, etc, etc. I know it's complex to have an app that works in a franchise model but damn, you can't give it more than two stars.

This app must have a patented technology to detect whenever it's at a McDonald's and use it to log you out whenever you try to use a coupon with your order, what a frustrating mess of an app that's insanely bloated with useless features. It takes ages to load and heats up my phone as if there's a secret crypto miner in there. In reality, it's just a terribly built app that performs like lukewarm manure.

Very poorly designed and executed. The user is near constantly bombarded about accepting or rejecting cookies. The app should remember the user's selection - that's the point of cookies. Navigating back to the menu after viewing an item is a real pain. The app lets you order "McDelivery" but does not let you order for pickup. The user should be able to place an order for pickup at the restaurant of their choice, specify whether they want to pick up at the counter or the drive-thru, and pay.
