No fish text search, only picture identification. Album opens sooooo long. Much longer than any other gallery app. No zoom, no movement of the picture when choosing picture from the gallery. If fish is not in the center of the frame, good luck zooming and moving it, it will return back, no way to identify.

I don't usually give a 1 star, because I understand the programmer's effort but this app just doesn't work. I installed it and took pictures of some bass from the web, where I made sure that the fish was isolated from the background and the app returned a suggestion that one picture was of a Bay Pipefish, which is more like an eel, and the second one was "identified" as a Humphead Wrasse, which is nothing like a bass. Install it yourself and give it a try. For me it just completely did not work. I'll be happy to revisit this review once the app is improved. The idea is good. The app just doesn't seem to work.

While its mostly a decent app, the frustration comes when it identifies your fish as the wrong one. Not because it identifies it incorrectly, this is understandable, but because theres no option to fix it or search for other possible options. It only gives you one option as to what your fish might be, so if its wrong, there's no way to search for what else it could be OR even input it yourself if you know the species and just want to add it to your caught collection.
