Ground News is the largest news aggregator in the world with over 50K news sources and 60K articles added daily. Ground frees people from algorithmic restraints, illuminates blindspots and makes media bias explicit with our one-of-a-kind media analysis features.
> Avoid manipulative algorithms > Spot media bias > Discover news Blindspots > Check the reliability of sources > See who owns the news you consume
Read daily breaking stories from sources around the world, in real time. Like a modern day newspaper, we show you diverse stories instead of algorithm-driven content that can limit your worldview. News coverage is rarely unbiased, so we give you as much context as possible so you can come to your own conclusions. Compare coverage on partisan topics like politics, and elections.

really enjoy this app. it's helped me make sure I'm not so stuck in a singular news bubble like can happen with Social media algorithms and the like. It has been awesome and helpful. Hoping to see many more local news channels. Also needs more notification controls such as selecting only certain publications and further narrowing the types of notifications. ontop of making it only notify local stories and other options.

The app is good but there are a few issues: 1- why is there no subscription option for Vantage? Can you give an eta on that? 2- it would be nice to be able to read at least a little more from the paywalled articles within the subscription. 3- as many people have already mentioned numerous times, color choices for left and right are confusing.

Hello Utku, our team has a workaround for you at the moment to access Vantage on the app so please don't hesitate to ask our team at feedback@ground.news. The color of the Bias Bar depends on your edition, US edition associate blue with left parties and red with right parties, the opposite is true for countries like Canada, UK, and Australia.

The app is nice enough: decently speedy and clear in its design. Sometimes the built-in browser fails to properly show an article, but this is probably the fault of the horribly designed cookie-walls and other UX killing features of the news outlet website rather than this app. The widget has been greatly improved in the latest update, and so has my rating.
