It doesn't send AAAA DNS requests, when there is no default IPv6 route on the device, but it should send them always, because there can be internal IPv6 routes, which are non default, because they don't route internet traffic. Instead of relying on DNS and hostanmes I have to type full IPv6 by hand, which is awful.
