This app has a severe shortcoming: it does not even send a push notification if your train has been canceled! I was "lucky" to find out when double checking departure times from NL-UK that I saw my train which was due to leave in two hours did not go. Yes, you get options to rebook or cancel but please notify your customers in this situation (and apparently only on the website - not in the app - was it mentioned that tickets were still valid from Brussels on?)

"Annoying" is the first word that comes to mind. The app essentially works but sometimes it can be almost comically frustrating to use. Lots of small irritations with the janky UI that really add up. The website is also pretty annoying to use (and was pretty poor long before the merger with Thalys), so it's not just the app. I suspect the code base behind all this must be a horrifying mess.

This app would be more useful if I gently placed my phone on the train tracks to get disassembled by the steel wheels of a locomotive. The booking process seems detached from computers, having to renter the same information even though it is in my account. When there are delays I can get more useful information from a drunk astrologist. The train will be cancelled but the app doesn't know, and wants to charge to change trains. It's not that difficult to make a functional app, but you haven't.
