Money grabbing, and poor performance. On a few occasions in the last 3 months I've found the system running in the middle of the night with showing as being unable to connect/offline whilenstill having internet at the property. Having to manually reboot the controller module. Now I've been logged out on one device. and have been shown pop ups on the website saying there is going to be a subscription cost for what was previously free to use equipment I have paid for over 3years ago. Not happy!

Two days ago I got a popup saying I had to purchase a monthly plan to continue using the app. Not acceding to pay I lost access to the app, which rendered my thermostat useless (no way to change settings nor schedules). After 24h in this situation, having no other option than to pay, I clicked purchase (feeling as if it was a ransom) only to get a message saying it was a market study. Free access remained plus 1 year free auto-assist. However, the unnecessary anxiety and stress was unethical.

Like lots of other companies, we routinely do marketing tests and research, plus we look at customer feedback every day. The message you refer to was part of these tests and full access to the tado° app remained in place without a charge being imposed.

Mediocre features and usability. I expected much more insight and control. Our weekly schedule varies with different needs for each member of the family when they are home. The graph view does not allow you to pin point an exact time and get the data for that moment. The main wired thermostat is reporting that's its battery is almost empty... for months now...
