I have to rate this low enough that someone might see this. The app is great when it works. It connects with Alexa to give me voice command of plugs and lights. But for some obnoxious reason devices disappear. I'm not talking disconnects, I mean REMOVED from the list. Then it becomes a nightmare of resetting and trying to reconnect the device. I have a special 2.4ghz WiFi just for my smart devices and it still can never find things in pairing mode. My bedroom fan has to reconnect once a month!

I have used this app for years, and it has always worked great! For the most part... Every now and then some of my light bulbs won't be connected again and I'll have to relearn how to reconnect them. Like every six months or so. I can never be sure if it is because of this app, Google Home, or Alexa though, lol. The main thing is that I can usually relearn how to connect my bulbs in 30 minutes or less. And considering how convoluted everything is these days, I'm plenty happy with that.

What do I actually do? This only shows a slideshow of 4 pages, with a button to try out pro mode, which I don't want. But okay, if I tap the button, it immediately demands I agree to the privacy policy, or the app will exit. This is ridiculous, I thought this was supposed to be good. Edit: guest access isn't much better. It doesn't find my device, plus it complains that I have to select a 2.4G network. My WiFi is both, so I don't understand what it wants from me.
